It's that time of year again!
Overwhelmed parents, already dealing with the stress of a global pandemic, are about to make one of the toughest decisions - what car would be best for my new driver? Although back to school, or sending your child off to college does not look like it used to, your new driver will still need a vehicle to get around. What is important for new drivers? When asked, parents unanimously agreed - Safety, Reliability and of course PRICE.
It’s well known that teenagers are among the riskiest drivers and they often end up behind the wheel of vehicles that are old, small, or lack modern safety features. Many times vehicles are passed down from parents or older siblings that have not been in use for a while. Smaller, older models don't safeguard as well as larger ones in crashes, and older cars typically don’t have newer technology like side airbags and electronic stability control (ESC) that can prevent or lessen the impact of collisions and help save lives.
We've done our research and complied a list of used vehicles for teens that strike the ultimate balance between cost, reliability, and safety to give parents peace of mind!
